This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a Mid-Level QA Automation in collaboration with the largest Investment Bank in Latin America

• Work on a project for a bank that specializes in investment capital, venture capital, wealth management, and global assets

• Develop and maintain automation for REST API testing

• Create and execute test scenarios using Cucumber/BDD and Gherkin

• Utilize Java, JUnit/TestNG, and Maven in the automation development

• Work with Git and manage Pull Request workflows

• Analyze logs and investigate failures

• Test services running on Kubernetes that interact with messaging services and AWS Secrets Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• Java version 8+; the project uses Java 21, so familiarity with modern features is desirable

• API REST test automation with RestAssured or an equivalent tool, such as Karate or Postman/Newman, with a willingness to migrate

• Cucumber/BDD with scenario writing in Gherkin

• JUnit or TestNG

• Maven for build and dependency management

• Git and workflow management with Pull Requests

• Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON, status codes, and OAuth2/Bearer Token authentication

• Good analytical skills, log reading, and failure investigation capabilities

• Allure Report or other test reporting tools (desirable)

• AWS, particularly Secrets Manager, with secret consumption via AWS SDK v2 (desirable)

• Azure DevOps, including Pipelines and Test Plans (desirable)

• AssertJ, Jackson, Lombok, and Log4j2/SLF4J (desirable)

• YAML for configuration and data set (desirable)

• Basic knowledge of SNS/SQS/RabbitMQ (desirable)

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes (desirable)
