QA Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Organize testing activities and engage in iteration and release planning.

• Execute requirements, performance, compatibility, and system-level integration testing.

• Carry out both exploratory and scripted testing across all products.

• Prioritize and manage identified issues.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, software developers, QA engineers, and technical writers.

• Contribute to Structure for Jira, one of Tempo’s key products.

• Ensure quality at speed while tackling challenges related to browser, Jira, Confluence, and plugin compatibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in testing.

• Strong background in planning and executing manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing.

• Experience in developing checklists.

• Familiarity with web application testing.

• Proven experience in testing business logic, usability, and user interface.

• Knowledge of the distinctions between GET and POST requests.

• Fundamental understanding of XSS.

• Comprehension of the software development lifecycle and various software development methodologies.

• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

• ISTQB certification is a plus.

• Experience in Jira administration is advantageous.

• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies is beneficial.

• Experience with mind mapping tools is a plus.

• Background in performance testing is an advantage.

• Experience in security testing is a benefit.

• Resume must be submitted in English.

• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
