This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Facilitate online Python classes using the curriculum and materials provided by Kodland.
• Introduce students to the Python programming language and fundamental software concepts.
• Guide students on topics such as variables, data types, conditions, loops, functions, lists, dictionaries, modules, and basic algorithmic thinking.
• Explain technical subjects in a simple, comprehensible, and engaging manner, tailored to the students' age and skill level.
• Encourage active participation, problem-solving skills, and creativity among students during group lessons.
• Regularly monitor students' in-class activities, homework, and project progress.
• Support students in developing their own games, applications, mini-projects, or interactive programs.
• Complete class reports after each lesson.
• Maintain consistent communication with the team leader and operations team.
• Be open to feedback from the quality team and work on improving teaching skills.
• Have knowledge of the Python programming language.
• Master basic programming logic.
• Be capable of explaining topics like variables, data types, conditions, loops, functions, and basic data structures.
• Communicate algorithmic thinking and problem-solving processes to students in a straightforward manner.
• Enjoy interacting with children and possess a patient teaching approach.
• Be able to explain technical subjects in a gamified manner, catering to children's comprehension levels.
• Have an energetic and guiding presentation style that fosters active student participation.
• Possess a computer, camera, microphone, and stable internet connection suitable for conducting online classes.
• Be open to using Zoom and learning online teaching tools.
• Be available for at least 10 hours per week.
• Have availability for lessons during weekdays from 16:00–22:30 and weekends from 08:00–22:30.
• Be organized, responsible, and have strong communication skills.
• Preferably have experience teaching, conducting workshops, giving private lessons, or mentoring children or youth.
• Have experience in project development using Python.
• Be familiar with visual programming tools like Scratch, MakeCode, or similar.
• Have additional knowledge in topics such as OOP, simple game development, bot development, data processing, or web fundamentals.
• Show interest in project-based learning and gamification approaches.
• Possess communication skills necessary for classroom management during group lessons.
• Be receptive to feedback and open to enhancing teaching skills.
• Ready-to-use and structured lesson materials.
• Comprehensive recruitment support and instructor training.
• Methodological support during the preparation phase for Python classes.
• Team leader support.
• Regular feedback from the quality team.
