Python Developer, Junior – Data Capture and Maintenance, Web crawling, APIs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Management and resolution of incidents

• Troubleshooting issues and implementing bug fixes

• Design and upkeep of crawlers/scrapers for effective and scalable data gathering

• Guarantee the integrity, security, and governance of acquired data

• Observe and analyze performance metrics (structured logs, alerts, and tracing)

• Record procedures, workflows, and technical choices

• Combine various data sources (APIs, both relational and non-relational databases, message queues)

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Proficiency in Python with a keen interest in data capture and maintenance

• Experience with AWS, notably services like SQS, Lambda, ECS, EC2, and S3

• Fundamental understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Basic familiarity with REST APIs

• Knowledge of Git

• Basic comprehension of Docker concepts

• Strong learning capability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment

• Effective communication skills and a readiness to thrive in dynamic settings
