Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Scrapy web crawlers.

• Utilize the Zyte platform and open-source projects for distributed information extraction, retrieval, and data processing.

• Identify and address performance and scalability challenges associated with large-scale distributed crawling.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within open-source projects, including Scrapy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of software development experience in Python.

• Strong understanding of Python programming.

• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and networking concepts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Availability for full-time work.

• Experience with Scrapy is a plus.

• Knowledge of crawling, data extraction, and processing techniques and tools, such as Scrapy, NLTK, pandas, scikit-learn, MapReduce, and NoSQL, is advantageous.

• Proficiency in English is a plus.
