Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop resilient, fault-tolerant software utilizing Python, Django, GraphQL, Celery, and PostgreSQL.

• Leverage extensive architectural expertise (e.g., separation of concerns, interfaces, and refactoring methodologies such as the Strangler Fig pattern or Chesterton’s Fence) to address intricate domain modeling challenges.

• Undertake significant milestones, steering their direction and pace to consistently meet deadlines while balancing technical trade-offs.

• Liaise with related teams on cross-functional initiatives, swiftly acclimating to unfamiliar concepts and pinpointing critical intersections across domains.

• Clearly communicate technical topics across various domains and to stakeholders with diverse levels of technical knowledge using a "strong opinions, loosely held" mindset.

• Establish standards through your code and actions, ensure comprehensive documentation of features and rollouts, and elevate the engineering standards throughout the organization.

• Act as a sponsor and mentor to engineers, assisting them in their growth and helping them achieve the standards required for promotion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python & Django (or a comparable web framework)

• Skills in domain modeling and architectural design

• Experience with GraphQL

• Capability in writing robust and fault-tolerant software

• Familiarity with Celery and asynchronous processing

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Bonus qualifications: Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes

• Familiarity with one or more frontend frameworks
