Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Create and support FastAPI services (including API routers, Pydantic schemas, middleware, and exception handling) along with their RabbitMQ consumers (using aio_pika, topic exchanges, durable queues, DLQ, and circuit breakers).

• Design resilient, decoupled processing workflows (such as ack-on-aggregation, MongoDB-backed state management for each car, and thread-pooled blocking operations under async consumers).

• Develop tests, manage Docker/docker-compose environments, and ensure services are reliable and observable in production.

• Work closely with purchasing and platform teams to convert business requirements into effective code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python 3.10+ with hands-on experience in asynchronous programming (asyncio) and FastAPI (or similar frameworks).

• Strong background with message queue systems, particularly RabbitMQ (aio_pika), and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with Docker and deployment patterns for microservices.

• Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and/or document databases (MongoDB).

• Commitment to clean code, testing best practices, and collaboration through Git.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail, with a strong desire to produce clean, efficient code.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team setting.

• Proven success in delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.

• Leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, drive technical projects, and set an example.

• Fluency in both English and Russian is essential.
