Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Paraguay.

📋 Description

• Engage in well-defined, project-oriented software engineering tasks for a prominent AI laboratory.

• Troubleshoot and fix issues within intricate, multi-file codebases.

• Develop new backend or full-stack features.

• Refactor and transition existing systems.

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Produce technical specifications and reference implementations.

• Evaluate code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure scenarios.

• Ensure consistency among requirements, code, tests, and expected outcomes.

• Deliver high-quality production code, technical solutions, documentation, testing, validation, and constructive code-review feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with at least one additional language such as Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development with production systems.

• Proficient with testing frameworks like pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Capability to navigate and debug extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.

• Advanced written proficiency in English.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent technical problem-solving abilities.
