Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and resolve issues within intricate, multi-file codebases

• Develop new backend or full-stack features

• Refactor and transition existing systems

• Create and enhance unit and integration testing suites

• Compose clear technical specifications and reference implementations

• Evaluate code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure scenarios

• Ensure alignment between requirements, code, tests, and anticipated outputs

• Deliver production-level code and technical solutions

• Provide complete and precise project deliverables

• Generate clear technical documentation and actionable feedback for code reviews

• Consistently meet project requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional experience in software engineering

• Strong expertise in Python

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript

• Familiarity with at least one additional programming language such as Java, C#, or Go

• Backend or full-stack experience with production systems

• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing

• Capability to navigate and debug extensive, multi-file codebases

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations

• Advanced written proficiency in English

• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving abilities
