Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Engage in well-defined software engineering projects that involve real-world codebases and development hurdles.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within intricate, multi-file codebases.

• Develop new backend or full-stack features.

• Refactor and transition existing systems to new architectures.

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Compose clear technical specifications and reference implementations.

• Evaluate code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure scenarios.

• Ensure that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are in sync.

• Produce production-quality code and technical solutions.

• Complete project deliverables with precision.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation.

• Generate clear technical documentation.

• Offer thoughtful and actionable feedback during code reviews.

• Consistently meet project requirements with reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with at least one additional programming language, such as Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack roles with production systems.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks like pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Ability to effectively navigate and debug extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Background in code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.

• Advanced professional proficiency in written English.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical problem-solving abilities.
