Python Backend Engineer – FastAPI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate a comprehensive array of multiple-choice, short-answer, and coding questions centered on FastAPI microservices.

• Assess the technical validity of multiple-choice options and ensure clarity in distractor options.

• Validate coding question prompts against their associated grading rubrics.

• Propose edge test cases for the implementation of API endpoints.

• Analyze concepts related to asynchronous communication and patterns for API gateways.

• Document all feedback in a well-structured JSON format.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in developing backend services utilizing Python and FastAPI.

• Extensive hands-on experience in creating production APIs with FastAPI, Uvicorn, and dependency injection techniques.

• Knowledge of ASGI servers, dependency injection, and Pydantic for data validation.

• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and microservices architecture.

• Proficient in reviewing and adjusting structured JSON data.

• Experience as a backend engineer, API developer, or microservices architect.

• Previous involvement in mentoring, technical interviewing, or designing engineering assessments is preferred but not mandatory.
