This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.
• Cultivating and enhancing relationships with key decision-makers at essential supplier organizations for product sourcing.
• Initiating and finalizing profitable trading transactions while minimizing risk and maximizing returns.
• Crafting innovative strategies for the buying and selling of products, creating plans for profit generation in both long and short market conditions.
• Assessing and benchmarking supply and demand dynamics, historical patterns, and projections regarding consumption, availability, manufacturing capacity utilization, and competitive pricing strategies for the product category.
• Formulating the team's business strategy, profit objectives, action plans, and performance evaluation criteria.
• A proactive and self-driven individual with a high level of energy and a strong sense of urgency.
• A "self-starter" capable of operating with minimal supervision, identifying potential opportunities, and taking prompt, appropriate action.
• A focus on the "bottom line," employing creative problem-solving skills to achieve profitable transaction outcomes.
• An effective time manager who honors commitments and consistently meets deadlines.
• A strong communicator, engaging with all levels of the organization, as well as ship owners/brokers, suppliers, and customers.
• Proficient in research and analytical skills.
• Solid knowledge and experience with PVC products and regional markets.
• Willing and able to travel extensively for business both within and outside of Indonesia.
