Purchasing Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Purchasing Coordinators to effectively and accurately manage purchasing activities.

• Collaborate with local HelloFresh supply chain cluster teams to implement daily operations through prioritization, governance, and alignment with strategic initiatives.

• Ensure the accuracy of data and the proper flow of information to relevant stakeholders.

• Promote team performance and accountability across key metrics, including OTIF delivery and zero overdue invoices.

• Oversee inbound supply chain operations, which include supplier management, purchasing, delivery tracking, and KPI management.

• Define governance and reporting frameworks to identify and address risks within the NA supply chain.

• Establish consistency across regions and allocate workload to achieve team objectives.

• Assess team capacity and redistribute resources to enhance service capabilities.

• Create SOP documentation for onboarding and business-as-usual operations.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement to streamline and automate purchasing processes.

• Compile tooling requests and provide recommendations.

• Report on the performance of Purchasing services, present findings to stakeholders, and deliver actionable insights.

• Offer guidance, support, and constructive feedback to assist team members in achieving their goals and deadlines.

• Act as the team's subject matter expert and exemplify problem-solving behaviors.

• Adapt to changing business needs and cover for absences as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a four-year college degree, preferably with a solid foundation in Supply Chain Operations, Management, or a Business-related discipline.

• A minimum of three years of experience in procurement, supply chain, and/or as a data entry clerk.

• At least one year of experience in people management is required.

• Proficient knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware, including peripheral devices.

• Experience in managing or reporting on KPIs.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Knowledge of German, Dutch, French, Spanish, or Italian is considered a plus.
