Global Procurement Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Foster stakeholder relationships by utilizing procurement expertise, demonstrating responsiveness, and understanding business needs.

• Implement procurement strategies through effective negotiation, RFI/RFQ assistance or processing, contract formulation, and supplier oversight.

• Leverage procurement tools and strategies to achieve savings and fulfill TE's financial objectives.

• Consistently enhance the service provided to TE's internal customers.

• Investigate suppliers, market dynamics, and industry trends to bolster sourcing strategies.

• Examine data and compile reports highlighting cost-saving measures and opportunities for process enhancement.

• Aid in supplier bidding and quotation processes by gathering and structuring relevant information.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on procurement initiatives while gaining insights into strategic sourcing and supply chain best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Currently enrolled in or pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or Engineering at an accredited college or university, or possess equivalent work experience.

• Previous internship experience or completion of a significant project is preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Travel required is less than 10%.
