Purchasing Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute effective strategies to sustain optimal inventory levels.

• Manage and process all purchase orders (POs) on a daily basis to ensure precise entry, verification, and upkeep.

• Provide regular updates to fulfillment partners regarding inventory status, potential risks, and new opportunities.

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the purchasing process.

• Utilize data analysis and forecasting methods to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding optimal reorder points.

• Monitor inventory levels on a daily basis and make timely adjustments to adapt to changing conditions.

• Analyze and report on inventory performance, pinpointing areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.

• Collaborate with fulfillment partners to request regular audits for maintaining inventory accuracy and identifying potential discrepancies.

• Engage in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall business performance, while closely working with systems analysts to address issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in procurement and inventory management, ideally within a high-growth environment.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach with outstanding collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in Excel, familiarity with inventory management and forecasting systems; experience with Tableau is a plus.

• Capability to work independently, confidently managing multiple tasks and effectively prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

• Meticulous attention to detail accompanied by strong organizational skills.
