Purchasing Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Establish and maintain plan take-off data, ensuring complete entry for both new and revised plans.

• Create and manage option take-offs for all plans and communities within the designated divisions.

• Oversee home site (lot) budgeting to align with projected start dates.

• Review preliminary lot starts before finalization.

• Collaborate with estimating and division purchasing teams to address any issues.

• Generate and sustain supplier/trade partner item pricing through the upload/download process.

• Update purchase orders as instructed by division partners to reflect current costs, quantities, or Trade Partners.

• Adapt to varying workloads and paces according to business demands.

• Process Z-Report tickets.

• Handle AV report tickets.

• Manage PO deletion tickets.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with Division leaders and assist in division operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in computer use, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Experience with JD Edwards is preferred.

• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to professionally handle multiple detail-oriented tasks with overlapping deadlines.

• Strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty are essential.

• Team-oriented individual capable of working effectively under pressure.

• Competence in operating computer equipment.

• Physical ability to speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.

• Necessary finger dexterity.
