Purchasing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Acquire products and services in alignment with the internal requirements of the company.

• Perform market analysis to pinpoint the most suitable suppliers and product alternatives.

• Evaluate and compare costs, lead times, payment conditions, and supplier quality.

• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract stipulations with suppliers, always aiming for optimal terms for the company.

• Supervise inventory levels of materials and products to avert surpluses or shortages that could affect company operations.

• Manage ongoing purchases and plan future acquisitions based on demand projections.

• Recognize the necessity for material restocking and initiate purchases proactively.

• Create and issue comprehensive purchase orders with all essential details to facilitate a smooth procurement process.

• Monitor order progress to ensure compliance with delivery schedules and receipt as agreed.

• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to foster dependable, long-term partnerships.

• Assess supplier performance, focusing on quality and adherence to deadlines.

• Address supply challenges such as delays, product defects, or inconsistencies in agreed terms.

• Oversee the purchasing budget to ensure expenditures are managed and within set limits.

• Review purchasing and consumption reports, recommending measures to enhance cost efficiency and streamline the procurement process.

• Ensure that all purchasing procedures are thoroughly documented, maintaining detailed records of each transaction.

• Manage the delivery and acceptance of goods, confirming invoices and related documentation.

• Ensure all purchases adhere to company policies and guidelines.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards pertaining to purchasing and procurement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in selling parts within the construction industry (heavy equipment, light equipment, and general automotive).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Production Engineering, or related fields.
