This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Propel Workday's expansion and stature with the Government of Canada and provincial authorities.

• Formulate and implement growth-focused strategies through direct interaction.

• Spearhead policy advocacy initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and solution executives.

• Actively participate in trade associations.

• Monitor and analyze the Canadian policy environment.

• Oversee external consultants to maximize resource efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of pertinent experience in a relevant role or industry.

• At least 5 years of experience working within or closely with the Canadian federal or provincial government.

• More than 5 years of experience leading technology policy advocacy initiatives.

• Direct experience engaging with public sector leaders regarding federal and provincial procurement processes.

• Extensive knowledge of the Canadian federal budget and estimates process.

• Expertise in Public Policy Development: Researching, analyzing, and shaping public policy.

• Proficient in influencing and fostering consensus among decision-makers.

• Experienced in engaging with trade associations.

• Skilled at incorporating diverse individuals, groups, and organizations into decision-making processes.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven capability to reconcile policy analysis with corporate commercial goals.

• Committed to action, with a strong ability to navigate independently through uncertainty.
