📋 Description

• Take charge of the commercial results of PR and Partnerships: driving branded search expansion, enhancing awareness in new markets, and contributing to organic revenue.

• Lead a team consisting of a PR and Copy Specialist along with a Content Specialist. Establish priorities, manage workflows, and elevate standards.

• Ensure foundational elements are in place: press releases, editorial guidance, brand storytelling, and content maintenance.

• Collaborate with merchandising on house-brand collections featuring influencers, designers, and cultural figures, focusing on small, impactful, fashion-forward releases.

• Manage our Brand Ambassador program, emphasizing authentic ambassadors with genuine reach rather than mere influencer gifting.

• Develop a varied earned media presence that stimulates branded demand: targeting tier-1 publications, niche authority sites, and cultural outlets. These mentions contribute to LLMs and establish authority.

• Foster partnerships with sports RX, smart eyewear, community sports teams, NGOs, and cultural institutions, ensuring SmartBuyGlasses is recognized beyond traditional advertising.

• Amplify our voice across various platforms: podcasts, Reddit, LinkedIn, newspapers, and television—brand mention volume is crucial for enhancing SEO and AI search visibility.

• Collaborate closely with our Social and Influencer lead to convert influencer reach into increased branded search.

• Establish editorial direction for brand content on our site: focusing on storytelling, product launches, collaborative narratives, and brand pages while coordinating with our SEO lead on priorities.

• Operate the editorial engine on a weekly basis: managing the calendar, creating brief templates, overseeing review loops, ensuring output quality, and maintaining speed to publish.

• Monitor AI search visibility (SGE, AI Overviews, LLMs) and tailor PR efforts to ensure our brand appears in relevant answers.

• Conduct disciplined experiments on formats, hooks, and distribution, swiftly eliminating ineffective strategies.

• Convert results into actionable commercial insights with clear reporting—no fluff.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in PR, Brand, or Partnerships within a consumer, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand, with direct responsibility for commercial outcomes.

• Possess a growth mindset; you take initiative, follow up, and deliver at 85%. You don’t wait for permission or perfect briefs.

• Proven track record of collaborations, brand partnerships, or licensing successes that you can reference (the narrative is more important than the scale).

• Experience securing media coverage in fashion, lifestyle, or business publications.

• Comfortable collaborating with merchandising and product teams on branded partnerships and collections.

• Strong commercial insight — you focus on branded search lift, repeat rates, and revenue rather than just impressions or EMV.

• Experience merging PR with influencer and social strategies to boost brand awareness.

• Experience managing a small in-house team or a desire to advance to such a role.

• Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English communication.

• Naturally partner with SEO and performance teams — understanding the drivers of search and AI visibility even without technical ownership.

• A self-starter with a proactive approach.

• A strategic thinker with a solid grasp of brand building, user behavior, and funnel metrics.

• High attention to detail and a self-motivated attitude.

• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in a dynamic environment.

• A genuine passion for continuous learning and improvement.
