This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Take charge of the commercial results of PR and Partnerships, focusing on branded search growth, awareness in new markets, and contributions to organic revenue.
• Lead a team comprising a PR and Copy Specialist along with a Content Specialist. Establish priorities, maintain workflow, and elevate standards.
• Ensure the fundamentals are addressed first: press releases, editorial direction, brand storytelling, and content hygiene.
• Collaborate with merchandising on house-brand collections featuring influencers, designers, and cultural figures, emphasizing small, trendy fashion drops.
• Manage our Brand Ambassador program, ensuring genuine ambassadors with substantial reach rather than merely token influencer gifting.
• Develop a varied earned media presence that enhances branded demand, targeting tier-1 publications, niche authority sites, and cultural outlets. These mentions are critical for feeding LLMs and establishing authority.
• Propel partnerships with sports RX, smart eyewear, community sports teams, NGOs, and cultural institutions, ensuring SmartBuyGlasses becomes a recognizable name beyond advertising.
• Amplify our presence across various platforms: podcasts, Reddit, LinkedIn, newspapers, TV, and editorials, as brand mention volume is essential for SEO and AI search visibility.
• Collaborate closely with our Social and Influencer lead to translate influencer reach into an increase in branded search.
• Set the editorial direction for website brand content, including storytelling, launches, collaborative narratives, and brand pages, while working with our SEO lead on priorities.
• Oversee the editorial process on a week-to-week basis, managing the calendar, brief templates, review loops, output quality, and speed of publication.
• Monitor AI search visibility (SGE, AI Overviews, LLMs) and tailor PR efforts and mentions to ensure our brand appears in search responses.
• Conduct disciplined experiments on formats, hooks, and distribution, quickly eliminating what underperforms.
• Convert results into actionable commercial insights, avoiding vague reporting.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in PR, Brand, or Partnerships within a consumer, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand, with direct responsibility for commercial outcomes.

• A proven history of collaborations, brand partnerships, or licensing successes that you can specify (the story matters more than size).
• Experience securing media coverage in fashion, lifestyle, or business publications.
• Comfortable collaborating with merchandising and product teams on branded partnerships and collections.
• Strong commercial acumen — your focus is on branded search lift, repeat rates, and revenue rather than just impressions or EMV.
• Experience integrating PR with influencer and social strategies to enhance brand awareness.
• Background in managing a small in-house team or a desire to take on this responsibility.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Naturally partner with SEO and performance teams — you understand what drives search and AI visibility, even if you don't handle the technical aspects.
• A self-starter with a tendency to take action.
• A strategic mindset with a solid understanding of brand building, user behavior, and funnel metrics.
