This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Take charge of the commercial success of PR and Partnerships: enhance branded search growth, boost awareness in new markets, and contribute to organic revenue.
• Lead a team of two members: a PR and Copy Specialist along with a Content Specialist. Establish priorities, manage the workflow, and elevate performance standards.
• Focus on getting the essentials right first: press releases, editorial direction, brand storytelling, and content hygiene.
• Collaborate with merchandising on house-brand collections featuring influencers, designers, and cultural figures for small, impactful, fashion-forward releases.
• Oversee our Brand Ambassador program: engage genuine ambassadors with substantial reach, not just token influencer gifts.
• Develop a varied earned media presence that fosters branded demand: targeting tier-1 publications, niche authority websites, and cultural outlets. These mentions support LLMs and enhance brand authority.
• Propel partnerships: sports RX, smart eyewear, community sports teams, NGO collaborations, and cultural institutions. Make SmartBuyGlasses a recognizable name beyond advertising breaks.
• Ensure our presence is felt across various platforms: podcasts, Reddit, LinkedIn, newspapers, TV, and editorial — brand mention volume is crucial for SEO and AI search visibility.
• Collaborate closely with our Social and Influencer lead to transform influencer reach into increased branded search.
• Set the editorial direction for brand content on the website: storytelling, product launches, collaboration narratives, and brand pages. Work alongside our SEO lead on priorities.
• Manage the editorial process on a week-to-week basis: calendar management, briefing templates, review cycles, output quality, and prompt publication.
• Monitor AI search visibility (SGE, AI Overviews, LLMs) and adjust PR and mentions to ensure our brand appears in the answers.
• Conduct disciplined experiments on formats, hooks, and distribution strategies. Quickly eliminate what doesn't perform.
• Convert results into clear commercial insights — no fluff reporting.
• 5+ years of direct experience in PR, Brand, or Partnerships within a consumer, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand, with accountability for commercial outcomes.

• Proven track record of collaborations, brand partnerships, or licensing successes that you can identify by name (the size is less important than the story).
• Experience in securing media coverage in fashion, lifestyle, or business publications.
• Comfortable collaborating with merchandising and product teams on branded partnerships and collections.
• Strong commercial insight — you consider branded search lift, repeat rate, and revenue rather than just impressions or EMV.
• Experience in integrating PR with influencer and social strategies to enhance brand awareness.
• Experience managing a small in-house team or a desire to step into such a role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Naturally partner with SEO and performance teams — you understand what drives search and AI visibility, even if you don't handle the technical aspects.
• Self-motivated with a strong inclination towards action.
• A strategic thinker with a solid understanding of brand building, user behavior, and funnel metrics.
