This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Take ownership of the commercial results of PR and Partnerships: driving branded search growth, enhancing awareness in new markets, and contributing to organic revenue.
• Lead a team consisting of a PR and Copy Specialist and a Content Specialist. Establish priorities, maintain workflow cadence, and elevate performance standards.
• Ensure foundational elements are in place: press releases, editorial guidelines, brand storytelling, and content quality management.
• Collaborate with merchandising on house-brand collections featuring influencers, designers, and cultural figures, focusing on small, impactful, fashion-forward releases.
• Manage our Brand Ambassador program, ensuring participation from authentic ambassadors with substantial reach, avoiding token influencer gifting.
• Develop a varied earned media presence that generates branded demand: targeting tier-1 publications, niche authority sites, and cultural outlets. These mentions contribute to LLM training and bolster authority.
• Cultivate partnerships with sports RX, smart eyewear, community sports teams, NGOs, and cultural institutions to enhance SmartBuyGlasses' visibility beyond traditional advertising.
• Ensure our brand is prominently mentioned across various platforms: podcasts, Reddit, LinkedIn, newspapers, TV, and editorial content — as brand mention volume influences SEO and AI search visibility.
• Collaborate closely with our Social and Influencer lead to convert influencer outreach into increased branded search activity.
• Establish editorial direction for brand content on our site: focusing on storytelling, product launches, collaboration narratives, and brand pages. Work alongside our SEO lead to set priorities.
• Oversee the editorial workflow on a weekly basis: managing the calendar, creating brief templates, ensuring review loops, maintaining output quality, and expediting publication speed.
• Monitor AI search visibility (SGE, AI Overviews, LLMs) and strategically shape PR and mentions to enhance our brand's presence in search responses.
• Conduct structured experiments on content formats, hooks, and distribution methods, rapidly eliminating ineffective strategies.
• Convert results into straightforward commercial insights — focusing on clarity over fluff in reporting.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PR, Brand, or Partnerships within a consumer, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand, with direct accountability for commercial results.

• Possess a growth mindset. You proactively open doors, make calls, follow up, and aim for an 85% completion rate. You do not wait for permission or perfect briefs.
• Proven history of collaborations, brand partnerships, or licensing successes that can be clearly identified (the scale is less important than the narrative).
• Experience in securing media coverage within fashion, lifestyle, or business publications.
• Comfortable collaborating with merchandising and product teams on branded partnerships and collections.
• Strong commercial insight — you evaluate success in terms of branded search lift, repeat rates, and revenue, rather than just impressions or EMV.
• Experience integrating PR with influencer and social strategies to boost brand visibility.
• Previous experience managing a small in-house team or a desire to take on that role.
• Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
• Naturally partner with SEO and performance teams — understanding what enhances search and AI visibility, even if you are not directly involved in the technical aspects.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to action.
• Strategic thinking with a robust understanding of brand development, user behavior, and funnel metrics.
