This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the planning, creation, and distribution of content targeted at franchisees and external customers.
• Communicate with the franchise network regarding inquiries related to public relations and community engagement.
• Educate the franchise network on PR resources and materials available on the franchisee intranet.
• Assist in crafting stories for franchisees and customers, conducting interviews, and preparing editorial content for public dissemination.
• Investigate new public relations strategies and monitor competitor activities.
• Update and maintain content on the company’s website.
• Engage in Community Relations efforts that support Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects as required.
• Analyze essential data and interpret results to inform broader Marketing strategies.
• A minimum of 2 years of undergraduate study in Public Relations, Marketing Communication, Digital Engagement, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, Nationals of the U.S., lawful permanent residents, or authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
• The employer will not provide visa sponsorship.
• Applicants must be rising college juniors or seniors, or recent graduates within the past 12 months.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Capacity to engage diverse audiences across various communication platforms.
• Familiarity with public relations skills, including writing and editing press releases and bylines, crafting media pitches, and public speaking.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and expectations while adhering to deadlines.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities are required.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, for internal, external, and franchisee interactions.
• Capability to synthesize extensive information, think critically, pose questions, and offer innovative ideas and feedback.
• A genuine interest in supporting charitable initiatives is a plus.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
