This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Conduct telephonic consultations.
• Offer psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, polyamorous relationships, and family clients.
• Manage a full-time caseload of around 28–30 clients, with 25 completed sessions weekly considered full-time.
• Handle a part-time caseload of about 18 clients.
• Keep case notes, logs, and all necessary documentation up to date.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as required.
• Write blog articles four times annually, on an optional basis.
• Engage in weekly or biweekly individual supervision and be available for weekly group clinical supervision.
• Contribute to the development and execution of G&STC workshops, training sessions, and seminars as opportunities arise.
• Undertake marketing activities for both yourself and G&STC as needed or desired.
• Hold an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC certification and be licensed in New York.
• Reside in New York or New Jersey.
• Commit to a minimum of 3 years with G&STC.
• Have education, training, and proven success in implementing CBT, IFS, mindfulness treatments, trauma-informed practices, somatic therapies, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering psychotherapy.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience providing individual, couples, polyamorous relationship, and/or family therapy.
• Accumulate at least 1 year of experience working with LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous clients.
• Have at least 1 year of experience addressing sexual-related issues such as sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual pain, and compulsive sexual behaviors.
• Demonstrate high competence in gender, sex, and sexuality, with expertise in some or all specified LGBTQ+, alternative sexuality, and sexual-related matters.
• Be organized and capable of submitting progress notes and responding to emails promptly in accordance with G&STC policies.
• Provide both a cover letter and resume.
• Therapists with private practices or those working in other group practices will not be considered.
• Enjoy autonomy and support in creating a caseload focused on issues and topics that are engaging and meaningful.
• Receive referrals and assistance in building a caseload that aligns with your professional aspirations.
