This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver client-focused and culturally sensitive therapy to couples and families across various relationship configurations and life stages.
• Involve relevant family members and partners in treatment planning, goal establishment, and psychoeducation.
• Conduct thorough relational and systemic evaluations.
• Develop personalized treatment strategies.
• Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions customized for couples and family systems.
• Facilitate challenging discussions and conflict resolution within a secure, impartial therapeutic environment.
• Address crises related to domestic conflict, safety issues, and disclosures, prioritizing safety and stabilization.
• Keep timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate records for both individual and joint sessions.
• Collaborate with individual therapists, psychiatrists, and other providers to ensure coordinated treatment.
• Engage in individual supervision, case consultations, and teamwork.
• Remain updated on best practices in couples/family therapy, continuing education, and regulatory standards.
• Assist families and couples by providing resources and referrals.
• Communicate with clients in a sensitive and timely manner while upholding confidentiality boundaries in multi-client scenarios.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Independent licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in providing therapy to couples and/or families.
• Strong background in evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions.
• Proficient in EHR and clinical documentation practices.
• Willingness to maintain afternoon and evening availability for couples and families.
• Preferred: training or certification in couples/family-focused approaches such as the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or structural/systemic family therapy.
• Preferred: experience in supporting couples and families through separation, divorce, reconciliation, or significant relational transitions.
• Preferred: experience with premarital counseling, blended-family/stepfamily dynamics, or recovery from infidelity and betrayal.
• Competitive hourly pay of $54–59 for pre-licensed clinicians, commensurate with experience.
• Competitive hourly pay of $64–69 for independently licensed clinicians, based on experience.
