Psychology Faculty – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver an approved syllabus to students in accordance with the local campus template and terminal course objectives.

• Organize, prepare, and regularly update course materials.

• Utilize online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication to engage students and enhance learning.

• Publish course objectives, assignment and examination dates, as well as evaluation-category weightings.

• Ensure that exam content and difficulty align with the course terminal objectives.

• Prepare and grade exams in a consistent and fair manner.

• Provide prompt feedback to students.

• Teach Psychology (PSYC110), encompassing psychological foundations, learning, attitude formation, personality, social influence, communication dynamics, conflict resolution, motivation, leadership, and group processes.

• Fulfill additional assigned responsibilities and adhere to policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or PhD degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline.

• 18+ earned graduate credit hours in psychology courses.

• A PhD in the field is strongly encouraged.

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an online/virtual environment at the rank of Instructor or higher.

• Teaching experience that includes student outreach is highly preferred.

• Adequate experience and qualifications to teach assigned courses.

• Current regulatory and practice credentials, if applicable based on the assignment.

• A genuine passion for education and lifelong learning.

• Exceptional expertise in the subject matter.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to provide official transcripts for all earned degrees from a regionally accredited institution.

• Foreign degrees must undergo evaluation by an approved evaluation entity.
