Psychiatrist, Collaborative Physician – MD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct video consultations and engage with patients through telemedicine.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, including the ability to prescribe medication when clinically suitable.

• Oversee and provide guidance to Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in states that necessitate collaborative agreements.

• Complete necessary chart reviews and deliver prompt consultation support to NPs.

• Maintain a responsive approach to collaboration duties in line with state regulations and UpLift standards.

• Coordinate patient care with UpLift’s network of therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while adhering to UpLift’s clinical and service standards.

• Provide feedback on products and workflows to UpLift’s engineering and operations teams to enhance care delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified Psychiatrist with active clinical experience.

• Possess an active and unrestricted medical license in one or more of the following priority states: Virginia, Texas, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina.

• Multi-state licensure is highly preferred.

• Experience in supervising or collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (e.g., NPs) is advantageous.

• Comfortable with prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and allowed by state law.

• Proficient in utilizing online tools and technology to provide virtual care.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to offer timely consultation support.

• Previous experience in telemedicine is a plus.
