Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical medication management via telehealth consultations.

• Conduct follow-up appointments lasting either 30 minutes or 20 minutes.

• Implement evidence-based care with a conservative approach to controlled-substance prescribing.

• Maintain autonomy in providing care that prioritizes patients' best interests.

• Collaborate with a variety of therapists and a prescriber in a team-oriented care setting.

• Participate in regular staffing sessions with collaborating therapists.

• Engage in routine virtual staff meetings.

• Optionally oversee clinician-chosen, evidence-based Nurse Practitioners.

• A clean and unrestricted medical license is required.

• A positive, non-judgmental, and accepting demeanor towards a diverse patient population.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong organizational and time management skills are a must.

• A willingness to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

• Significant experience as a Psychiatrist is preferred.

• A commitment to positively impacting mental health care is essential.
