Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – North Carolina License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and offer ongoing medication management for patients aged 5 and above.

• Create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and objectives.

• Prescribe and oversee psychotropic medications, ensuring their effectiveness and monitoring for any potential side effects.

• Identify and treat co-occurring behavioral health issues and substance use disorders.

• Work in collaboration with primary care providers, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams.

• Keep precise and timely documentation within partner-site electronic health record systems.

• Provide care via telehealth while establishing trustworthy relationships with patients and care teams.

• Contribute to the development of behavioral health programs that adapt to the evolving needs of the communities we serve.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active PMHNP license in North Carolina (required).

• Possess an active DEA registration.

• Have a minimum of three years of clinical experience, ideally within community-based behavioral health.

• Demonstrate experience in psychiatric medication management.

• Ability to manage complex cases independently using sound clinical judgment.

• Experience treating patients across various age groups.

• Commitment to a full-time practice.

• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

• Comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms and digital clinical tools.
