Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients through a telemedicine format.

• Serve a varied clientele experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

• Primarily provide care to adults and adolescents, with plans to broaden services to all age groups in the future.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized care plans.

• Complete or administer relevant documentation and assessment tools for clients.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across multiple locations.

• Participate in the ADHD Clinic and manage ADHD clients without restrictions on client or prescription numbers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification - Board Certification is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is essential.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in psychiatry is required.

• Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the state where they will be providing services.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is an advantage.

• Three years of experience is considered a plus.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 years and older.

• All clinicians are required to complete internal training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and methods, followed by a certification examination.

• Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hiring.
