Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Pennsylvania

• Perform initial assessments

• Collaboratively create treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or both

• Provide follow-up consultations at least once a month to evaluate treatment effectiveness and ensure ongoing care

• Maintain care until treatment objectives are met

• Offer a variety of talk therapy modalities

• Create a personal schedule within operating hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

• Work in collaboration with advanced practice nurses and the wider care team

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Current Pennsylvania Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License

• ANCC Board Certification

• DEA Certification

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong skills in assessment

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Driven, client-focused work ethic

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions

• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week

• Open availability Monday through Friday and on weekends

• 1099 contractor status
