Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial assessments with clients.

• Collaboratively formulate treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Proactively check in with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions.

• Provide continuous care until treatment objectives are met.

• Offer various types of talk therapy in conjunction with medication management.

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Nevada.

• Create a personal schedule within operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

• Work in partnership with advanced practice nurses and the wider expert team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

• Valid Maryland Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification.

• DEA Certification.

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong assessment capabilities.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Must possess a personal computer.

• Must have a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Must be comfortable delivering various types of talk therapy.

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.

• Availability on weekends.

• Monday to Friday weekly schedule.

• 1099 contractor arrangement.
