Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform thorough patient assessments.

• Create and implement effective treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications when deemed necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Regularly collaborate with therapists to review patient cases and clinical matters.

• Participate in clinical conferences at least weekly for the first 90 days, transitioning to monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states is preferred.

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is advantageous but not essential.

• Capacity to work effectively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer use and basic technology.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• In-depth knowledge of diagnosing psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Awareness of non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
