Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth, Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Perform initial and follow-up telehealth assessments.

• Provide care for mental health issues and substance use disorders.

• Prescribe medications as necessary and address member inquiries.

• Complete documentation using the Healthie EHR.

• Collaborate with counselors, therapists, case managers, and the overall care team.

• Participate in occasional scheduled team meetings.

• Deliver evidence-based treatment for individuals dealing with substance use and mental health disorders.

• Make medication decisions at the provider's discretion in collaboration with members.

• Prescribe controlled substances only as Suboxone for opioid use disorder.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license in Oregon.

• Hold an active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice, as well as in your state of residence if it is not Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant prior experience may be accepted for candidates with less than 2 years as a PMHNP.

• Experience in prescribing Suboxone is required.

• Must have an active DEA registration.

• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure is essential.

• Medicaid enrollment is advantageous.

• Demonstrated empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges.

• Comfortable using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.

• A quiet, private office with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions is necessary.
