Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth, Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee member care in collaboration with counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers.

• Deliver evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and mental health challenges.

• Perform initial and follow-up evaluations through telehealth.

• Provide care for conditions related to substance use and mental health.

• Prescribe medications as necessary and address member inquiries.

• Maintain documentation in the Healthie EHR system.

• Work in partnership with the care team.

• Participate in occasional scheduled team meetings.

• Make medication-related decisions collaboratively with members at the provider’s discretion.

• Conduct telehealth visits from a quiet, private office utilizing a reliable internet connection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active, unrestricted license in Arizona.

• Hold an active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice and in your state of residence if it is not Arizona.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant experience may be considered for those with less than 2 years as a PMHNP.

• Experience with prescribing Suboxone.

• Valid DEA registration.

• Openness to obtaining multi-state licensure.

• A quiet, private office equipped with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth visits.

• Proficiency with technology, including EHR systems and mobile applications.

• Medicaid enrollment is an advantage.
