Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for autistic and neurodivergent adults through telehealth services.

• Utilize the psychological assessment conducted by a Prosper psychologist as a basis for the initial evaluation and treatment plan.

• Prescribe, adjust, and oversee psychiatric medications, including stimulants, following Prosper's clinical protocols.

• Ensure adherence to the required visit frequency and PDMP checks for controlled-substance prescribing in accordance with Arizona and DEA regulations.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up visits with clarity and thoroughness.

• Collaborate directly with Clinical Leadership, Operations, and Engineering to enhance the care model, protocols, and tools.

• Assist in establishing documentation standards, caseload structure, and clinical quality benchmarks as the team expands.

• Deliver outstanding client care while Prosper handles administrative responsibilities, insurance billing, and client acquisition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) by the ANCC.

• Possess a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited psychiatric mental health nursing program.

• Hold an active, unrestricted Arizona APRN license and active DEA registration.

• Registered (or willing to register immediately) with the Arizona Prescription Monitoring Program.

• Have 3+ years of post-graduate psychiatric experience, including mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, management of common psychiatric medications and treatment plans, and crisis management.

• Experience in delivering telepsychiatry, including the prescribing and monitoring of controlled substances in a virtual environment.

• Embrace a neurodiversity-affirming approach to care and possess a genuine interest in supporting autistic adults.

• Comfortable using technology and virtual care platforms (Zoom, EHR, Slack).
