Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care services.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Work in collaboration with therapists and prescribers within a team-based care framework.

• Engage in monthly staffing meetings with collaborating therapists to review patient cases and clinical topics.

• Attend at least one clinical conference each week for the first 90 days of employment.

• Participate in one clinical conference monthly after the initial 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a PMHNP.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer use and basic technological skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• In-depth knowledge of diagnosing psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Familiar with non-pharmacological treatment approaches.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
