Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient setting.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Work alongside therapists and participate in monthly staffing meetings to review patient cases or clinical topics.

• Attend clinical conferences at least weekly during the first 90 days of employment, followed by monthly attendance thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer use and basic technology applications.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Extensive knowledge in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Awareness of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
