Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care effectively via telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create and implement treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Assemble teams with various therapists and a prescriber through the onboarding process and clinician matching.

• Meet with collaborating therapists regularly, at least once a month, to review patient cases or discuss clinical topics.

• Participate in at least one virtual clinical conference weekly during the first 90 days of employment.

• Attend one virtual clinical conference each month following the initial 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• PMHNP license is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, and WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience working as a PMHNP.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technological skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Extensive knowledge in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Understanding of non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
