Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care effectively through telehealth in an outpatient environment

• Provide direct care to patients

• Perform assessments of patients

• Create comprehensive treatment plans

• Prescribe medications when necessary

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards

• Work collaboratively with therapists and prescribers as part of multidisciplinary teams

• Hold regular meetings with collaborating therapists to discuss patient cases or clinical matters

• Participate in clinical conferences at least weekly for the first 90 days, subsequently attending monthly

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP

• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technology skills

• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatry

• Extensive experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
