Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform patient assessments.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as necessary.

• Ensure compliance of patient care with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with therapists and prescribers in a team-oriented approach to care.

• Participate in regular meetings with collaborating therapists to discuss patient cases or clinical topics.

• Attend clinical conferences at least once a week during the initial 90 days, transitioning to monthly thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• PMHNP license is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Capacity to work collaboratively with a diverse array of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Solid background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Awareness of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
