This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver effective individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.
• Provide direct care to patients.
• Perform thorough patient assessments.
• Create personalized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical practices.
• Collaborate within clinical teams that include therapists and a psychiatric prescriber.
• Connect with qualified psychotherapists in need of a prescriber, with team matching supported by BlueSky.
• Engage in monthly staffing meetings with collaborating therapists to discuss patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical issues.
• Provide clinical services remotely from the comfort of home.
• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Attend BlueSky's clinical conferences four times a week; attendance is mandatory at least once weekly during the first 90 days and once monthly thereafter.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the following states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as necessary.
• Minimum of six months of prior experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Must not own or operate a private practice.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry and behavioral health.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in assessing, diagnosing psychiatric disorders, and providing psychopharmacological treatment.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Proficient computer skills and comfort with EHRs, telehealth platforms, and basic technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Capacity to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth setting.
• Flexible scheduling options, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Remote clinical services performed from home.
