Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver efficient individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide hands-on patient care.

• Perform patient evaluations.

• Create treatment strategies.

• Prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams that include therapists and a prescriber.

• Participate in regular meetings with collaborating therapists, at least once a month, to review patient cases or clinical subjects.

• Attend a minimum of one clinical conference each week during the initial 90 days of employment.

• Attend one clinical conference monthly after the first 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in alternative states.

• Previous experience as a PMHNP is preferred but not mandatory.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Robust background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders.

• Significant experience with psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
