Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform thorough patient assessments.

• Create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as deemed necessary.

• Ensure that patient care aligns with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other therapists.

• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings and mandatory clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license in Tennessee.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states including Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer and technology skills.

• Strong clinical experience in psychiatry.

• Solid background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Required to attend at least one clinical conference weekly during the first 90 days of employment, transitioning to once a month thereafter.
