Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Prescribe necessary medications.

• Ensure that patient care aligns with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Participate in at least one virtual clinical conference each week during the initial 90 days of employment.

• Join one virtual clinical conference monthly following the first 90 days.

• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and therapists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license in Tennessee.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer and technology applications.

• Robust clinical experience in psychiatry.

• Strong expertise in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
