Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care services.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.

• Formulate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Prescribe medications when deemed necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in virtual clinical team meetings.

• Attend clinical conferences four times a week, with a mandatory attendance of at least one per week during the initial 90 days, and one monthly thereafter.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and therapists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license in Tennessee.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, and WA.

• Capability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer and technological skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Solid experience in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Attend at least one virtual clinical conference each week for the first 90 days; thereafter, participate in one monthly.
