Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide hands-on patient care.

• Perform thorough patient assessments.

• Formulate comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Operate independently to prioritize patient welfare.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and therapists.

• Participate in clinical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a PMHNP license in TN is mandatory.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in other states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Capacity to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer and technology skills.

• Solid clinical experience in psychiatry.

• Strong expertise in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and implementing psychopharmacological treatments.

• Knowledge of non-pharmacological intervention strategies.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Attendance at a minimum of one clinical conference per week during the first 90 days of employment; thereafter, one monthly conference is required.
