Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient care and perform thorough patient evaluations.

• Create treatment strategies and prescribe medications when necessary.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Operate independently in the best interest of the patients.

• Work collaboratively with therapists and prescribers within multidisciplinary teams.

• Meet with collaborating therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or clinical issues.

• Participate in at least one clinical conference weekly during the initial 90 days of employment.

• Attend one clinical conference each month following the first 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• A minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a PMHNP.

• Ability to work in collaboration with a diverse array of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient in computer usage and basic technology skills.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• Solid background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments.

• Awareness of non-pharmacological treatment options.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
