Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide hands-on patient care.

• Perform patient evaluations.

• Create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications as needed.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Form teams with therapists and a prescriber through effective onboarding and clinician matching.

• Collaborate with therapists at least once a month to review patient cases or relevant clinical topics.

• Participate in clinical conferences weekly for the first 90 days, transitioning to a monthly schedule thereafter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid PMHNP license.

• Willingness to obtain licensing in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Proficient computer skills and basic technological knowledge.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatry.

• In-depth knowledge of diagnosing psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological therapies.

• Familiarity with non-pharmacological treatment methods.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
