Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality individual psychiatric care through telehealth in an outpatient environment.

• Provide direct patient services.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.

• Create tailored treatment strategies.

• Prescribe medications as required.

• Ensure that patient care adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with therapists and prescribers within multidisciplinary teams.

• Engage in regular staffing meetings with collaborating therapists at least once a month to discuss patient cases or clinical subjects.

• Participate in at least one clinical conference weekly during the initial 90 days of employment.

• Attend one clinical conference each month following the first 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid PMHNP license is required.

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.

• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience as a PMHNP.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.

• Strong computer proficiency and basic technology skills.

• Robust clinical experience in psychiatry.

• In-depth knowledge of diagnosing psychiatric disorders and administering psychopharmacological treatments.

• Understanding of non-pharmacological approaches.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
